If you know how to single crochet, you can easily make these crochet boho coasters in a half an hour (it’d be a lot quicker, but fringe….)
Before creating this blog post, I initially posted a tiktok of me making these coasters and besides being told how much I sound like Pam from the office (never heard of her) the second most common theme is people telling me that instead of my fingers, I should try to use a latch hook for fringe. I tried it afterwards and have to say THANK YOU to those commenters because it really is night and day difference.
If you can single crochet and make a circle, you can create these coasters. They make excellent gifts or craft fair items. I can only imagine all of the color combinations one might work these up in. I chose green, pink, white, and lavender and couldn’t be happier with the results. The coasters pictured are used in my craft room where everything is so brightly colored and most decor is handmade. Choose a cotton yarn to work up these crochet boho coasters, it won’t stretch and warp, it’s sturdy and stays in place and it’s absorbent which is really what you want in a coaster.
